The GA-7IX was one of the more reliable AMD 750 based motherboards. AMD even adopted the 7IX as the standard board used in all of their evaluation systems, which says quite a bit about how much faith they had in the solution.
The 7IX was based very closely upon AMD’s Fester reference design, which was the main reason for its success as a stable platform.
Even today, it makes for a decent solution, but once again, the attention has shifted to KX133 solutions which makes the 7IX more of an archaic than a desired solution.
