The EPoX 7KXA is actually the first retail KX133 based motherboard that we ever tested, and while it didn’t measure up to the standards eventually set by the ASUS K7V-RM, the board is definitely a decent solution.

The 7KXA is closely based on the reference KX133 design, which is why it so closely resembles some other KX133 boards such as the Tyan Trinity K7 S2380.

The board does feature overclocked FSB settings, which can come in handy if you’re trying to get the most performance out of your system.
